Line 45 Privacy Policy

At Line 45 we take protecting your privacy seriously. Your information is yours to own and share, not a product for us to sell. We will only use your information in ways for which you’ve given us permission. We are committed to being transparent and open with you about how we collect and handle your information. This Privacy Policy explains in more detail what information we receive, how we get that information, and what we do with it once we have it.

How do we learn information about you?

Data you submit voluntarily. You may choose to submit personally identifiable information – including your name, telephone number, or e-mail address – when you contact us via the Line 45 website or sign up to receive our email newsletters.

Cookies and other website tracking. We use cookies and other similar tracking technologies on our website in order to understand your interactions and customize web page content based on information like browser type, device type, and your prior actions and indicated preferences. We do not use cookies to store personally identifiable information such as credit card numbers, telephone numbers, or other information you provide. To maintain your privacy, you can disable your browser’s ability to accept cookies.

What do we do with your information once we have it?

When you give us information, we will use it in the ways for which you've given us permission. We restrict access to personal information to the personnel that requires access to provide you our services.

More specifically, we may use your information to:

  • Respond to you when you contact us with requests, comments, and questions.

  • Provide our services to you

  • Send emails and other communications regarding changes to our products, services, or policies and for billing, account management, and other administrative things. These types of communications are considered part of our service and cannot be opted out of.

  • Send email newsletters and other communications regarding data best practices, promotional communications, or news about Line 45. These are marketing messages that you can opt out of at any time by either contacting contact@line-45.com or clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email you receive from us.

When do we share your information with others?

We will never sell your information to third parties.

We do use a select number of third-party tools to store your data. For example, we may store your name and email address in Mailchimp, the tool we use to send email newsletters. We only work with third-party services who are contractually obligated to handle and store the data in ways that are approved by us. When you submit personally identifiable information on the Line 45 website you authorize us to share your data with these approved third-party applications.

How do we store and protect your personal information?

Line 45 will take reasonable and prudent precautions to ensure that your personally identifiable data is protected against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Despite our efforts, if we learn of a security breach we will notify you so that you can take appropriate protective steps.

We don't want your personal information for any longer than we need it, so we only keep it long enough to do what we collected it for. Once we don't need it, we take steps to destroy it unless we are required by law to keep it longer.

You may request to see and change the personal information we have collected and stored for you at any time by reaching out to contact@line-45.com.

What if we change this privacy policy or any of our privacy notices?

We may need to change this privacy policy periodically as technology, regulations, and circumstances change. The updates will be posted online. If the changes are substantive, we will announce the update via email.

If you no longer wish for us to store your personally identifiable information, you may submit a request for deletion to contact@line-45.com.
